Oohs, Aahs and many OMGs dominated the local Twittersphere today, with the royal couple paying a visit to Singapore. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William & Kate Middleton, touched down at Changi Airport just before 3pm and were whisked away to the Singapore Botanic Gardens - the first stop of their three-day visit here..

The royal couple were ushered to the National Orchid Garden where an orchid was named after them. They also saw the Dendrobium Memoria Princess Diana, an orchid named after the late princess Diana...
