University students lobbed a wide range of questions at DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam at a forum on Wednesday night. They ranged from topics like whether the main objective of promoting work-life balance was an increased birth-rate to whether the country should have a more liberalised mainstream media. Here are excerpts of some of the best questions from the forum and the answers offered by the Deputy Prime Minister.
